8. My biggest turn-offs: Arrogance and ungratefulness. I can understand being proud of yourself, but being humble about it the best way to go. It someone starts bragging and being cocky, I shut right down and don’t even hear a word they’re saying.
25. It changes everyday. lol I want to go to grad school. What exactly for? I don’t know. I think in the long run, I’d like to teach younger students (like middle school age.) I’d also like to maybe get some adjunct job at a college to teach jazz doublers how to play the flute with a good tone.
When I have to talk before a piece
lol I will never forget having to say Au- dela du temps by Yuko Uebayashi with Roya before we played our duet at Wildacres. :)

Flax seeds are a great source of Omega 3 fatty acids, which help lower blood pressure, reduce inflammation, and strengthen the immune system. Omega 3’s also play a crucial role in brain function, and there is evidence suggesting that they may help combat depression and anxiety. :)
Ingredients:
2 cups flax seeds
2 cups water
1 tsp salt (optional)
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients - stirring until a gelatinous mixture is formed. Pour your mixture onto two dehydrator trays, and spread evenly. Your batter should be about 1/8 inch thick.
Dehydrate two to three hours on 118 degrees, then flip and score lines in the batter to make 16 equal squares per tray. Dehydrate for another two to three hours or until crispy. Break along lines, and store in an airtight container in the cupboard. Will keep for up to a month.
